Duncan has gotten stronger over the last 10 years using many pieces of equipment from VitalitySC including light weight wheelchair to help him maneuver the hills at Furman University. Polar Bear Plunge January 16th in Lake Carolina to support Children's Charities of the Midlands.
Come in person to Lake Carolina at noon for the big splash.
Create your own virtual Polar Bear Plunge at home with your family.
1.Make colorful ice cubes with food coloring or juice. 2.Make ice cube towers with mittens or rubber gloves
3. Make igloos out of sugar cubes cemented with frosting or marshmallows
4. Challenge everyone to put their finger and toes or elbows into icy water.
5. Measure the water temperature with a thermometer
Can you guess the temperature ? Make it colder. Make it warmer.
6. Fish with the polar bears and penguins
Toss coins watch them sink. Fish with a magnet at the end of the fishing pole.
7.Dress your teddy bears up with scarves and hats and mittens.
8. Drink hot chocolate and gold fish
9. Teach all children about inclusion and how it is fun to raise money to buy adaptive bikes and ramps and wheelchairs.
