Smokefree SC is excited to promote the annual youth va**ng conference for South Carolina teens. This conference is youth-led and planned. Members from the Pickens County Youth Board and the Orangeburg F.I.R.E Squad Youth Coalition have planned the agenda and will be leading the breakout sessions.

Congratulations to our friends, FIRE Squad Youth Group !

We’re excited to announce that our 2026 Group Youth Advocates of the Year Award goes to FIRE Squad of South Carolina, represented by Jeremiah Morgan, Synaya Thompson and PJ Hubbard.

Members of FIRE Squad – the Fearless Individuals Reaching Excellence Youth Coalition – are united by a common mission: protecting their peers and communities from to***co and ni****ne addiction. These young leaders have worked to reduce youth to***co use in their South Carolina communities, successfully advocating for an ordinance in Orangeburg that restricts to***co retailers near schools and other youth-centered spaces.

We look forward to honoring FIRE Squad and other inspirational young leaders and public health champions at our 2026 Youth Advocates of the Year Awards.
