Yesterday our team had the absolute pleasure of spending the afternoon at the Richland Library to connect with Beth Ruffin, their new Chief Engagement Officer, and Lee Patterson, Director of Social Work. Their passion, knowledge, and heart for the community was evident in every conversation.
Our time together was centered around partnership, specifically how we can align our work to better support the community members their social work team serves every day. From housing assistance to securing birth certificates, bus passes, and beyond⦠their team shows up with compassion, patience, and a true commitment to helping people navigate lifeās challenges.
Weāre especially excited about the opportunity to coordinate with their team to have a MAP -Medication Assistance Pharmacy advocate onsite during their Free Clinic telehealth days, creating a seamless connection so individuals can access care and receive medications through MAP at no cost. That kind of alignment is what real impact looks like.
The library is not just a place for books, itās a place for access, creativity, learning, and connection. The library is for everyone!
If you havenāt visited yet, please do yourself a favor and go experience it.
We are so excited about whatās ahead in partnership with this amazing team.
