🍭 Sugar isn’t the only cavity culprit!

Bacteria in your mouth feed on sugar and starchy foods like chips, bread, and pasta. When they do, they create acid that wears down your enamel — and the longer that acid sits on your teeth, the more damage it can cause.

🪥 Brush and floss regularly to clear away that acid, and let fluoride strengthen your enamel!

🎄✨ Welly’s Week at Welvista Was One for the Books! ✨🎄

Welly was busy spreading cheer all week long! He sold Christmas trees 🎄, showed off his skills rock climbing 🧗‍♂️, turned into a holiday tattoo artist 🎨, applied for Employee of the Year 🏆, and even squeezed in a little story time 📖✨.

From adventure to creativity (and a whole lot of elf-sized ambition), Welly brought the holiday spirit to every corner of Welvista — and kept us smiling the whole way through!

Cavity Prevention with Dr. Darby Kelley

Sugar is a big contributor in the formation of cavities but not the only cause. Bacteria in the mouth feed on sugar. The bacteria make acid from these sugars, which damages the tooth's protective layer called enamel. The longer the acid is in contact with the teeth the more damaging it is. Brushing and flossing regularly helps disrupt this acid attached and fluoride helps re-mineralize weakened enamel.
