The REBT Primary Certificate Practicum is the first level training in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy offered through the Albert Ellis Institute in NYC, at which Steve A Johnson, PhD serves as the President and core faculty trainer. Dr. Albert Ellis was the originator of the 2nd wave of behaviorism, which is the current most popular psychotherapy model internationally. The students were supervised by international experts in the model, all of whom reported that this group of CIU students did excellent work and that the Albert Ellis Institute would be excited to have more such CIU students in the future and hope that the current students would consider obtaining higher level training in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy.
