Congratulations to Erin on her Great Catch Award!

Erin Gillispie, a respiratory therapist with the Children’s Hospital Critical Care Transport Service (CHCCTS), recognized signs of an undiagnosed congenital malformation. While assessing a patient, Erin noted abnormal chest sounds and advocated for additional imaging, which revealed a rare congenital airway malformation often linked with other birth defects. Erin’s assessment and advocacy skills helped ensure the patient received timely diagnosis and treatment of an underlying condition.
