“Saying ‘I gotta lock in’ is basically just my way of announcing the start of ADHD paralysis. Avoid ADHD paralysis? Set small tasks. Five minute rule- Commit to working on a task for just 5 minutes to trick your brain into starting.

The CDC released new findings from the National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey (NISVS) 2023/2024 Sexual Violence Data Brief, the first update since 2016/2017.
The data show that sexual violence remains common across genders and settings, including workplaces, public spaces, and online. For the first time, the survey also includes data on technology-facilitated sexual violence.
Sexual violence is a serious public health issue, and it is preventable. During Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) this April, we will continue sharing what this data means and how prevention efforts can support safer communities.

It’s January 16th—the official graveyard of the “New Year, New Me” planners. 🪦☕️

If your expensive 2026 planner has officially become a coffee coaster, you aren’t lazy. You have executive dysfunction.
As a therapist with ADHD, let me tell you a secret: I haven’t opened my own planner in 4 days. Why? Because the ADHD brain often views structure as a threat once the initial dopamine of “buying the thing” wears off.
The “gap” in your planner isn’t a moral failure. It’s just a gap. You don’t have to wait for Monday or next month to start again. You can literally just turn to today’s page and write one thing. Or don’t. Your worth isn’t tied to your productivity.

Letting go of what no longer serves us 🤍
In 2025, we release self-blame, comparison, burnout, and the need to be everything for everyone.
In 2026, we choose compassion, authenticity, softness, growth, and showing up as we are — not as who we think we should be.
Here’s to entering the new year lighter, kinder, and more aligned ✨
