🐾 Meet Taylor🐾
One of those people who was basically born into veterinary medicine (her mom’s a vet tech, so it’s in her DNA). With 17 years of experience in everything from ER and urgent care to surgery and client education, she’s the calm, capable energy every pet (and pet parent) needs. ✨

Fear Free certified and endlessly compassionate, Taylor’s all about making each visit smoother, safer, and sweeter—usually with a specialty puppuccino involved. ☕🐶

At home, she runs what Dr. Hunter calls “The Sanctuary,” complete with rescue cats and dogs, chickens named after famous female authors, turtles, hermit crabs, and a collection of fish, shrimp, and snails. Add in carnivorous plants, gardening dreams, and soon—beekeeping!—and you’ve got one seriously cool nature-loving vet pro. 🌿🐝

Whether she’s hiking, building Star Wars Lego sets, or helping your pet feel their best, Taylor brings heart, humor, and a whole lot of animal love to everything she does. 💛

November is National Senior Pet Month — a time to celebrate the golden oldies who’ve filled our lives with love, loyalty, and maybe a little bit of sass. 💛🐾
As pets age, their needs change — but with the right care, they can keep thriving well into their senior years.
Here are a few ways to keep them feeling their best:
🩺 Regular checkups: Early detection is key to keeping health issues manageable.
🍗 Tailored nutrition: Senior pets often need special diets for joint or digestive support.
💤 Comfort matters: Soft beds, warm spots, and easy access to food and water go a long way.
At WAG Vet, we’re all about helping your senior pets age gracefully — because every gray whisker deserves the good life. 💫

🎃🐾 Keeping it Spooky (and Safe) 👻💛

Halloween is all treats and no tricks… until your pet finds the candy stash. Here’s how to keep the night fun and fear-free:

🍫 No chocolate or candy for pets — especially anything with xylitol.
🕯️ Keep decorations pet-proof — cords, candles, and fake cobwebs can cause real scares.
👻 Costume check — make sure your pet can breathe, move, and see comfortably.
🚪 Door duty — trick-or-treaters mean extra chances for escape, so secure your pets before the bell rings.

💡 WAG Tip: A quiet room, their favorite bed, and a few extra cuddles go a long way on spooky nights.

✨ Columbia friends, if your pet does get into something scary, our team’s here to help make it all better — no magic wand required. 🧡

It’s National Cat Day — aka the purrfect excuse to celebrate the tiny, fluffy rulers of our homes. 🐱👑
Whether your cat is a professional napper, a laser-pointer athlete, or a snack-time negotiator, today’s all about them (let’s be honest… every day kind of is).
Here’s to the headbutts, the zoomies, and the judgmental stares we wouldn’t trade for the world. 💛
