🚨 Saturday, March 7th - WAG Urgent Care is operating on limited hours today due to unforeseen circumstances. We will be closing at 5 PM today. We are happy to help you until 5pm and then back to regularly scheduled programming bright and early on Monday morning!

✨ Meet Haley ✨

Haley brings extensive experience in small animal urgent care, plus wildlife and exotics — which means she’s basically our “ready for anything” queen. While she’s trained in every corner of the clinic, her heart is happiest with hands-on patient care and assisting in surgery.

What drew her to vet med? The problem solving. The challenge. Helping patients who can’t tell us what’s wrong — and figuring it out anyway. 🩺 She lives for those quiet little moments when a nervous pet finally relaxes and gives her that “thank you” look.

Her skills? IV catheter placement, venipuncture, medication administration, anesthesia monitoring — the works. She’s Fear Free certified (because stress-free care matters) and currently working toward her veterinary technician license. And just as importantly, she’s passionate about helping pet parents feel informed, confident, and supported every step of the way.

At home, Haley has a full mythological pet squad: dogs, cats, reptiles, and even a hedgehog — each with their own dramatic backstory, obviously. Outside the clinic, you’ll find her reading, watching Asian dramas, visiting U.S. National Parks (goal: all of them), and unapologetically loving Twilight.

We’re so lucky to have her on our team 🐾✨

Meet Dr. Kristin Miller 👋🐾
And help us give her the warmest WAG Vet welcome 💛

We’re so excited to welcome Dr. Miller as an Associate Veterinarian at WAG Vet in Columbia, SC! She brings 2.5 years of experience across general practice, surgery, and after-hours urgent care—plus a thoughtful, compassionate approach that fits right in with our care philosophy.

A lifelong animal lover (inspired by her childhood cats 🐱), Dr. Miller is especially passionate about feline medicine and emergency care, with a strong focus on improving quality of life for cats with complex medical needs. She’s even a published author, with a recent feline-focused study in the Journal of Veterinary Internal Medicine 📚✨—because excellence and curiosity are kind of her thing.

At WAG Vet, Dr. Miller works closely with our incredible team to provide comprehensive exams, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical care—always individualized, always intentional. We couldn’t be more excited to have her skills, heart, and energy as part of our growing team.

When she’s off the clock, she’s a devoted cat mom to:
🐱 Thor – 11 years young, living his best snack-filled life
🐱 Taiyo – sweet, shy, and a little suspicious of everything
🐱 Asta – tiny body, HUGE personality

Outside the clinic, Dr. Miller loves crafting with her Cricut, doodling, watching anime, spending time with friends, and collecting all the fun things 🎨✨
