We want to say THANK YOU to personal trainer Emily Olis as she heads off to get married, move out of state, and start her doctorate work in Physical Therapy. We hope she will return to work with us in the future. She has been a great blessing to this Crossroads community from her exercise expertise to her sweet smile of encouragement. Don't forget- today is Foam Rolling Friday! End your WOD with foam rolling:
- lower back
- piriformis
- IT band/TFL
- hamstring
- calves
- quads/hip flexors

Don't remember how to roll these areas? Just do a quick online search of the muscle you are foam rolling and NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine). They have great mini-tutorials!

Be sure to roll slowly and at different angles (inner, outer, middle). Any time you encounter a tender area, hold that position for at least 30 seconds so that tight fascia can release. Pro tip- listen to some good music to distract yourself๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘

Today's WODs both focus on conditioning- increasing muscle and cardiorespiratory endurance. They include timed intervals (you can use your phone's stopwatch, or just get a free interval timing app). Do as many reps within the time interval as you can!
