🎤 LEF Speaker Spotlight: Hear from COLA’s Medical Director, Cynthia Bruzzi, MD and Verlin Janzen, MD, FAAFP, at COLA’s Laboratory Enrichment Forum May 6-8, 2026.

Dr. Bruzzi joined COLA in March 2025, bringing a strong background in anatomic and clinical pathology and over a decade of working in diverse laboratory settings. She trained at the University of Pennsylvania, UT Health San Antonio, George Washington University, and the University of Virginia, with fellowship training in cytopathology.

Dr. Janzen is a member of COLA’s Board of Directors and a retired family physician formerly practicing at the Hutchinson Clinic in Hutchinson, KS. He also served as a director of the clinic’s laboratory serving 70 physicians, outreach clinics and local nursing homes. He has served on the boards of the Nebraska and Kansas Academies of Family Physicians, is a past President of the Kansas Academy, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
