The U.S. Department of Transportation has announced it will delay enforcement of new wheelchair-related airline requirements until August 1, 2025. The rule strengthens standards for boarding, deplaning, training, and liability — but enforcement is on pause while legal and policy reviews continue.

The Architectural Barriers Act requires that federal buildings & facilities be accessible to people with disabilities. If you believe that you have encountered an accessibility barrier at an ABA-covered facility, file a complaint with the Access Board.
