This time that we’re in made me reflect on growing up preparing for winters snow ❄️ storms in Buffalo, NY.
The weather man gave notice “ there is a 🌨 blizzard 🥶 coming”
We went into action...
We prepared for the snow storm.
We bought our groceries 🥘 and medical supplies.
Gas ⛽️ for our cars and snow plows.
Some people still had to go to work in “3ft” not “inches” of snow.
Family members would get snowed in, stranded miles from home.
We shoveled our neighbors drive ways, especially the elderly.
If you had a snow plow you plowed your driveway and your neighbors.
If you could get out to the store you would make sure your neighbors had what they needed.
I could go on and on..
The point is when a storm comes let’s show compassion.
Let’s think 🤔 of ways we can help our families, neighbors, neighborhoods, community, first responders and especially the elderly, those with weakened immune systems and the kids who may not be getting their meals. How can we help the parents without a support system and no childcare while they must go to work ?
How can we support the employees of businesses that close?
Let’s step in and step up.
Take a moment and think 🤔 I’m sure you’ll find a way to contribute 💪🏾 ☺️
This is who we are❣️
Love ya Peeps💋
