My Story

I was introduced to acupuncture when I met Dr. Kim Fite in 2011. I had suffered from depression for most of my life and and was not in a good place when I was treated by Dr. Fite. Laying on the table with just nine needles in me, I had a life-changing mental shift, and I have never returned to that deep of a depression. I trained under Dr. Kim D.C., L. Ac. for the next six years in a traditional apprenticeship, teacher to student, one on one transmission of an ancient art. Emotional distress remains as my main focus of study and favorite use of acupuncture although I have also learned many ways to relieve physical pain and discomfort. Every time a patient gets off my table with less pain, physical or emotional, I feel proud to be part of their healing process and humbled by the strength of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
