TWO YEARS ALREADY?!

As I wrap up another year, my favorite thing has become looking back through the names of all of the people I probably would’ve never met had I decided to not open an office. I truly can’t express what an honor it is to get to know you, your families, and your friends & to get to be a part of your wellness journey.

Some days I still can’t believe I get to call this work. Year two was amazing. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making it that way 💜

Back in the office this morning after 4 days of continuing education in Iowa at my alma mater, Palmer College of Chiropractic - the best chiro college in the world😉

Thank you for allowing me to step out of the office a few times this summer to expand my knowledge in order to better serve all of you here at Durr Family Chiro!

Out of the office today volunteering at Greenford Community Library for the kids summer reading program!

Dr. Sara, Pepper & Spear are taking the day to teach the kids about draft horses and their importance in the history of agriculture and transportation!

Remember when Dr. Sara was out of the office for a little while in June?!?! Well we have exciting news! ✨

Dr. Sara is now one of only four chiropractors in the surrounding Ohio communities, and the only chiropractor in Columbiana, currently Webster Certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association! 🥳

You might be wondering, “What is Webster?!” 🧐

Well, let us tell you!

Webster technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment that balances the bones, muscles and ligaments of the pelvis, and reduces nervous system stress to optimize the mother’s pelvic function through pregnancy and birth. 🤰🏽

Misalignment/Subluxation throughout the mother’s pelvis may contribute to difficult labor (dystocia), caused by things such as the following:

🚩Inadequate uterine function
🚩Pelvic contraction
🚩Baby mal-presentation

When your pelvis is misaligned during pregnancy, it can cause tension in the ligaments of the uterus, resulting in limited room for your baby to move☹️

Balancing the mother’s pelvis may have a positive effect on all of these causes of dystocia, while creating a more comfortable environment for baby!☀️👶🏼
