Ashleigh and Dan are partnering to offer a workshop-style class that will start with meditation instruction to support the following yin yoga practice period. Their intention is to give space to turn knowledge into practice into true understanding. After the class, there will be time for questions, reflection, and discussion.

Yin yoga emphasizes stillness and receptivity in static poses. Zen emphasizes stillness and receptivity as the basis for activity.

In a dimly lit room, the poses are held for 3-5 min, safely targeting and stimulating deep tissues by relaxing the muscles. You’ll use concentration techniques to truly cultivate attention. Being present to our bodily sensations and emotional responses to them increases the capacity to be present in your life experience. This has profound physical, mental, and energetic benefits.
