Great advice from our friends at Sage Direct Care!

Remember that your power mobility devices do not like being wet and cold. Bring them in from the elements and make sure you're storing them within the temperature ranges and conditions outlined in the owner's manual for optimal performance.

Power Lift Recliners and Stairlifts often contain battery backup systems in case of power failure. While many contain rechargeable lithium batteries now, being familiar with your backup system and if batteries may need replaced is beneficial. You can refer to your owners manual for the specifics of your device.

Needing a simple solution for a toilet that's too low?
If replacing a lower height toilet isn't on your to-do list, a toilet seat riser is a quick solution with minimal investment cost.
Most toilet seat risers raise toilet seat height 3.5", with additional height models available. Models are available for round or elongated toilet seats.
