Pharmacy Fun Fact!
Did you know that the "Rx" symbol comes from the Latin word "recipe", which means "take this." Back in medieval times, doctors would write Rx at the start of prescriptions to tell pharmacists what ingredients to "take" and prepare. Some also believe the symbol traces back to Jupiter's symbol, which was thought to bring good health and protection. In other words: it's a small symbol with a big history!
