March is National Nutrition Month!

So let’s talk about the role dietitians play in eating disorder treatment.

While recovery looks different for everyone, the importance of nutrition education and meal support is often overlooked. Dietitians help support both the brain and body in healing, while guiding individuals toward a healthier relationship with food.

Understanding their role can make a meaningful difference when seeking support. With the right care and treatment, long-term recovery is possible. šŸ’™

We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us earlier this month for the quarterly Columbus Eating Disorder Roundtable!

Bringing together providers who are passionate about supporting individuals impacted by eating disorders is always so meaningful, and this event was no exception.

A special thank you to our speakers, Marianne Brown and Claire Wilt with The Emily Program, for leading an insightful discussion on Severe and Enduring Eating Disorders (SEED).

We’re also grateful for our incredible roundtable partners:

Your ongoing collaboration makes this work possible. šŸ’™

Eating disorders often show up through emotional, behavioral, and physical changes. When detected early and connected to treatment, recovery outcome improves.

Sometimes the signs are subtle. Sometimes they’re not. Knowing what to look for could help you recognize when someone, or even yourself, may need support.

You don’t have to have all the answers, but just knowing the signs is a powerful first step.

A Valentine from EBHA to you šŸ’Œ

These hearts hold more than sweet sayings — they carry gentle reminders for anyone who might need them today. Valentine’s Day can bring joy, but it can also bring pressure, comparison, or complicated feelings around food, body image, and self-worth.

Let these be your reminders:
šŸ’— Deep breaths
šŸ’— Loved just as you are
šŸ’— Healing takes time
šŸ’— You are worthy
šŸ’— Progress > perfection

Save this post for a gentle reminder later, or share it with someone who could use a little love. šŸ’•

We’re Growing at Eating & Behavioral Health Associates!

Eating & Behavioral Health Associates is expanding, and we’re excited to be hiring an independently licensed therapist or psychologist to join our team in Columbus or Cincinnati.

We’re looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about eating disorders and body image work and who values evidence-based care. While we are primarily seeking a full-time clinician, we’re open to part-time for a great fit—and we’re willing to wait until we find the right person.

This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys working with children, adolescents, and/or adults and appreciates being part of a collaborative, clinician-led practice. If you have a strong foundation in evidence-based or exposure-based therapies, we would love to hear from you.

At EBHA, we prioritize thoughtful care, sustainable caseloads, and a supportive team culture—so clinicians can do meaningful work without burning out.

Learn more about the position and apply using the link below.

If this isn’t you but you know someone who may be a great fit, we’d be grateful if you’d share this post.
