TWO DAYS AWAY 😍

One of the things I love most about HUMPDAY is that it’s a wild departure from what we do most of the time at SPARK.

As relationship coaches, Andy and I work with singles and couples in our offices in Old Worthington. These sessions are private, sensitive, and confidential. We help our clients sort through whatever they’re going through and offer personalized feedback and practical tools to improve their love lives.

HUMPDAY, on the other hand, is an opportunity for us to let loose and have fun. We curate a fun Valentine’s date night for couples on a topic that everyone’s interested in yet rarely talk about in public - s*x. Featuring live music, dancers, and stand-up comedy, the event is entertaining AND educational; Andy and I talk about the humorous reality of s*x in long-term relationships, offering helpful tips to keep the spark alive. We have a few drinks, get VERY silly, interact with the audience, and share funny stories from our own marriage that we would never normally share with clients.

It’s an incredibly fun evening, one that we enjoy as much as our audience.

Then we go back to regular life.

FUN FACT: Andy and I found out we were pregnant on Valentine’s Day 2022 💕

It was a typical Monday morning and I remember waking up and taking a test, with no expectations.

I couldn’t believe my eyes so I took another. Then ran downstairs and showed Andy. We hugged and cried and prayed and FaceTimed our parents.

Each year around this time, the memories come flooding back. Valentine’s Day has an extra special place in my heart forever 💘
