Now accepting applications for Mindscapes: Art as Sanctuary 🦋

Mindscapes is a paid, multi-part art experience for high school juniors & seniors and college students of all ages. Centered on mental health and self-expression, this program uses collaborative art-making to build connection and break down stigma.

Participants will:
• Take part in a collaborative art workshop
• Exhibit work in a full gallery show at Fresh A.I.R. Gallery
• Celebrate their work at a public gallery opening
• Receive a $50 stipend and the opportunity to sell individual artwork

This program is in collaboration with Hilltop Arts Collective, Fresh A.I.R. Gallery, local artists Dan Gerdeman & Kelli Trinoskey, and mindfulness coach Elizabeth Mintun. We also want to extend our thanks to the Mid-Ohio Farm on the Hilltop who will host our workshop.

It has been a dream of mine to facilitate a workshop at a place that has been the source of such HUGE personal and professional transformation for me. What an honor that the very first workshop I’m facilitating at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland is on a theme so near and dear to my own heart.

Earlier this month, we had the Conscious Practitioner Collective gathering.

It was a gift to hold space as we…

Shared what was present as we reflected on 2025…

Lit floating candles together as a symbol of not holding on too tight to intentions and hopes for 2026… (letting them lightly “float”)…

And appreciated simply being together in laughter, tears, holding space for it all 🕯️

As this year comes to a close, I notice my gratitude for this community.

For your courage, your tenderness and heart, and for the light you bring into the world through your work and presence.

May what we shared that night continue into the year ahead in ways more exquisite than we might imagine (even through the inevitable twists and turns).

This gathering is just one reflection of the larger community of The Calming Ground - a community committed to presence, compassion, and moving forward with mindful care. I appreciate all of you! 💛
