Calm.

What is this elusive state of being? Where does it come from? How does it feel when you are fully centered and at ease?

This small-group sound experience will attempt to bring clarity to these questions and more through the use of healing sound vibrations. Using the sounds of gongs, handpan, flutes, chimes, singing bowls, and more, Sonic Wellness will create an energetic space that will invite calm from deep within.

Participants are encouraged to bring items that will support their deepest comfort, such as a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, bolster, eye mask, etc. A few chairs will be available for those with physical limitations.

Join Toni Lum, ERYT500, and Jeffrey Oakman, aka Sonic Wellness, for an evening to celebrate and honor the Pisces New Moon. This new moon is especially momentous as the start of eclipse season, a heightening of energy which ushers in a dreamy, welcoming, new beginnning. A fresh start. A space to recommit and set a healthy pattern for what your dreams require.

This night also marks the in-between of seasons, no longer the height of Summer, but not quite to the fullness of Fall. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) this interval is the recognition of the Earth element. We leave the passion & fire of the Fire Element (Summer) and pause before the clarity and release of Metal Element (Fall), to nourish our Qi with the Earth Element. How do I care for myself? What do I need to feel I have enough & that I AM enough? It's these questions we'll use to set intentions, nourish Qi and welcome a New Beginning.

Expect:

Discussion of the moon energy and TCM Earth Element

A gentle, restorative class to nourish Qi using specific acupressure points to feed the Earth element. Accompanied by Jeffrey's melodic, and intuitive, sounds.

A setting of goals and/or intentions from the space inspired by the evening

Join Reiki Master: Dana Grant and Sound Healer: Jeffrey Oakman for an evening of profound energetic awakening. We will welcome Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, and experience the Light within and around us through vibration, both in energetic work and sound. According to all ancient traditions and wisdom, this is the most powerful day of the year. You could think of it as a day for amplified upgrades. This workshop will be more of an EXPERIENCE than anything else because the only way to understand energy is to feel it for yourself. When you begin to understand energy and work with it, you will be blown away at how your soul and the universe begin to work together to create literal magic. In this event, Jeffrey will bless us with his otherworldly sound healing gifts and will use sound frequency to guide us into a healing state by using the vibration and sound currents to unblock and expand the energetic body, while Dana will give collective reiki to everyone in attendance in order to help the energy flow fluidly.
