It is evidenced in scripture that God values diligence in minor details as a sign of character and trust. Rick and Darlene of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Lancaster are the epitome of this "faithfulness in small things."

Year after year, their love and compassion for the unborn is seen not only in their hearts but in the details of their church's baby shower display...the tiny buttons forming the baby's feet and Darlene's first diaper cake creation topped with Ohio State booties! This year, like all years in the past, it was my joy and privilege to present to their church family as we launched their annual Lenten baby shower event. We thank you, Emanuel Lutheran Church, for your dedication to our ministry! Come, Holy Spirit, remind us every detail of every life has value and "even the hairs of your head are all numbered (Matthew 10:30)" by our good and faithful Father. ~Kristin, Community Outreach Coordinator

"Asked the Lord for manna and He provided! Last week at this time we were down to our last pack of newborn and size 1 diapers and today we have an abundance!" These words were proclaimed by Andrea, our Lancaster Center Coordinator, following a recent urgent email request for newborn and size 1 diapers.

Leave it to our Lancaster church partners, including area partners in Canal Wi******er, Lithopolis, and Reynoldsburg, to respond so efficiently to this call for help. Nurse Erica and Andrea (pictured left to right) continued to laugh in delight as a stream of diaper boxes were delivered throughout all of Monday! The Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption in Lancaster recently hosted their annual Ministry Fair paired with a delicious, hot breakfast provided by the Knights of Columbus Council #15447.

PDHC is an integral part of this parish's Respect Life ministry, so it was a joy to set up a display and to share information about our four pillars of service with the many families who attended this event! ALL of the proceeds from this breakfast were donated to our life-saving work...thank you, Council #15447, for coordinating this effort to support moms, dads, and babies in our local community! Thank you to the students of Grove City Christian School for their incredibly generous donations to PDHC. From clothing to diapers and wipes, and even coins collected in bottles, their outpouring of support was remarkable. It is truly a blessing to witness the next generation stepping up with such compassion and commitment.

What a blessing for us to receive an abundance of "Blessing Bags" made for the women of our centers and our Abortion Recovery program! We are so appreciative of the creative ideas that Tori conjures up to support our life-saving ministry. From lotion to hair scrunchies, pocket tissues, hot chocolate, heart bookmarks, and more, these bags of goodies help the women we serve feel special and cherished. Thank you, Tori and parishioners of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in Lithopolis, for taking time on cold winter nights to warm the hearts of our PDHC women! ~ Kristin, Community Outreach Coordinator
