✨ Employee Highlight: Kaylee Stone, Housing Supervisor ✨

At Forward Health, our team is made up of people who don’t just work in recovery—they live the mission. Kaylee Stone is a perfect example of that. 💙

From an early age, Kaylee knew she wanted to be part of this field. Growing up in a town heavily impacted by addiction, where many of her family and friends struggled, some now in recovery and others still fighting, she made a decision to break that cycle. Instead of following the same path, she chose to become part of the solution, helping others find their way back to a healthier life.

That strength carries into everything she does. Kaylee is someone who doesn’t back down from any obstacle placed in front of her. She leads with resilience, authenticity, and a deep understanding of the people we serve.

Her mindset is grounded in a quote she lives by: “Don’t ever look down. Be comfortable with who you are—our flaws are what make us perfect.” – MGK

Moving from a small town to a big city on her own wasn’t easy, but what she found at Forward Health made all the difference. For Kaylee, this isn’t just a workplace, it’s a family. A place where she feels accepted, supported, and empowered to make an impact every single day.

We are incredibly proud to have Kaylee on our team. Her passion, strength, and heart for helping others truly embody what Forward Health stands for. 💙

👏 Thank you, Kaylee, for the difference you make every day!

We just completed our new Peer Center at Forward Health.

It has a full gym. TVs. Xbox. Ping pong. Card tables. Space to hang out, laugh, compete, and just be normal again.

That might not sound groundbreaking. But it is.

Because recovery isn’t just about staying sober. It’s about rebuilding a life that’s actually worth living.

For a lot of people, that means relearning simple things. How to take care of your body. How to enjoy your time. How to be around people without chaos attached to it.

Fitness matters. Structure matters. But so does just plain old fun. We built this because people deserve more than just treatment. They deserve a place where they can start to feel like themselves again.

This is what real recovery looks like. We ain’t hard to find.

For decades, this building stood as a place where decisions were made that shaped our city.

Built in the 1950s and designed to withstand anything, it once served as a prominent political building in the heart of downtown Columbus.

Today, it stands for something different.

After a complete renovation, this historic space is now home to Forward Health, where individuals struggling with substance use and mental health challenges can find support, dignity, and a path toward recovery.

We believe the environment where healing happens matters. Every room in this building was rebuilt with that purpose in mind.

If you or someone you love needs help, we are here.

Huge congratulations to Tristann Blankenship!!! 🎉👏

Yesterday she sat for her Master’s level exam — and PASSED — officially earning her LISW! What an incredible accomplishment and a true reflection of her dedication, integrity, and commitment to this field.

Tristann is not only a skilled clinician, but a powerful leader here at Forward Health.

Advanced licensure isn’t just about passing a test — it represents years of education, supervision, long days, ethical responsibility, and showing up for clients over and over again. And she has done it with excellence.

We are so proud of you, Tristann. Your hard work paid off, and this milestone is so well deserved. 💙

Help us celebrate her in the comments! 🎊

I’m a good person who was scared to be that good person… so for a while, I became someone I wasn’t meant to be.
— Case Kegley, Men’s PHP Housing Supervisor, Forward Health

I grew up with everything I ever needed. Great parents. A family that did everything they could to lead me down the right path. School came easy. Sports came easy. I was even blessed enough to play baseball at the next level in college.

But one of my favorite activities was drinking.

I started drinking and using drugs at 13 or 14 years old. For a long time, I was able to mask the damage it was doing. But once I was on my own, everything caught up with me. After two years of college, I failed out because of my drinking and drug use. Just like that, I lost what I loved most… baseball.

I lost my identity and went searching for a new one in all the wrong places. Using. Selling. Drinking. Slowly sinking into the dark depths of addiction and alcoholism.

And here’s the part that still blows my mind…

Even in the middle of all that, I became highly successful installing mainline gas and oil pipelines across the United States. Six-figure income. Brand-new vehicles. Camper. Boat. I thought I had it all.

But I had an addiction and alcohol problem.

And eventually… I lost it all.

My addiction sent me to jail repeatedly in nearly every city I visited. I lost control of my life. I lost my job. I lost the toys. I lost my physical health. I lost everything.

Until I found Forward Health.

I needed help and didn’t know where to turn. By the grace of God, I landed at Forward Health. I listened. I sat my butt still. I added great people to my life and removed the ones who weren’t helping me grow. Most importantly, I gave myself time to let the miracle happen.

And a miracle is exactly what I earned.

It wasn’t given. It was earned. And only by the grace of God and the people at Forward Health was I able to receive it.

Today, I’m no longer afraid to be the real me. I finally understand how to keep becoming the good person I was always meant to be.

Sobriety is better than any high I ever chased.

And it can happen for you too.

Forward Health was grateful for the opportunity to have Encyrcle in town this week. Thank you to the Encyrcle team for teaming up with Forward Health to host an outstanding community networking event at Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse.

It was great to see so many treatment providers from across Ohio come together, connect, and learn more about innovative alumni tracking solutions that help us better support clients long after discharge.

At Forward Health, we are always looking for ways to strengthen outcomes and stay connected with the individuals we serve. We appreciate partners like Encyrcle who are helping move the field forward across Ohio.

At Forward Health, we believe in humanizing the admissions process from the very first call.

Our Admissions team understands how hard it is to ask for help because we’ve been there. We know the fear, the shame, and the courage it takes to pick up the phone.

That’s why when you call us, you’re met with compassion, honesty, and real understanding.

We meet you where you are and walk beside you every step of the way.

You are not alone. 💜
And we are not hard to find. If you or someone you know is struggling reach out.

Today, Forward Health met with Aclochè, a staffing agency, to explore more employment opportunities for the clients we serve.

We talked about vocational programs, resume building, job readiness, and workforce placement, all while emphasizing what matters most: second chances.

Recovery is more than treatment, it’s rebuilding a life with stability, purpose, and opportunity. We’re excited about what this partnership could mean moving forward.

At Forward Health, we don’t do the minimum.

We hold ourselves to the highest standards in the country because the people we serve deserve nothing less.

That’s why we maintain dual accreditation through The Joint Commission and CARF. Two independent, nationally recognized organizations. Two separate sets of rigorous standards. One commitment: to deliver care that is accountable, evidence-based, and built to actually change lives.

Accreditation isn’t a badge on the wall. It’s ongoing evaluation. It’s clinical oversight. It’s systems, outcomes, and transparency. It’s making sure every program, every policy, and every person on our team is aligned around quality.

If you’re trusting us with your recovery, we take that seriously.

Nationally accredited. Clinically trusted.

At Forward Health, some of our most critical roles across clinical care, housing, admissions, and alumni support are filled by people who once sat on the other side of the table. They were patients here. Now they are high-level performers with years of continuous sobriety, helping lead this organization forward.

We do not just track outcomes. We build systems that make them possible.

If you are ready for a new life, we ain’t hard to find.

We saw a gap, so we built something better.

At Forward Health, we believe health and wellness matter, especially early on when someone is rebuilding their life. Movement, connection, and having a place to unwind are not extras. They are part of recovery.

As we’ve grown, we kept running into the same problem. There simply weren’t enough local gyms or community spaces that could consistently offer a judgment free environment for our patients.

So we stopped trying to squeeze into spaces that weren’t built for this work and decided to build our own.

On March 1, 2026, we’re opening the Forward Health Peer Center.

The Peer Center includes a full gym, pool tables, table tennis, spaces to watch sporting events, offices, and most importantly, support. It will be staffed around the clock by Certified Peer Recovery Specialists who understand recovery because they have lived it.

This space is for current and past Forward Health patients. A place to move, decompress, connect, and just be human.

If you’re part of the Forward Health community, we’ll see you there on March 1st.
