It has been a very busy August as usual in the Beartooths. We had back to back rescues the last two weekends, one just below the Granite Peak area and the other in Benbow. We are very happy to report that all 4 people were able to walk away with minimal injuries.
The search last weekend as you may have read was an unbelievable success and it took many, many resources to result in such a great outcome. We would like to thank each and every person, pilot, searcher, dog handler, dog, medic and behind the scenes volunteers that were part of this search. We can't thank you enough, all we can do is be here to offer the same to anyone that needs it paid back in the future!

We cannot Thank Kathy enough for all the hard work she has put into fundraising for not only our team Stillwater County Search And Rescue, but the many other deserving organizations and scholarships.
We will always be saddened by why we became part of Kathy's life, but we will always call her family! Thank you so very much!!!

Today our donation from One Glove One Love arrived in Montana for the Stillwater County Search And Rescue. Chase remains in their hearts as they remain in mine, and in everyone else's who loved Chase. They are the reason Chase came back home 😇

As previously mentioned.

As previously mentioned.

Warning for Boaters at Stillwater River: Boats can NOT currently use the Nye Fishing access, anything above the rainbow fishing area is not going to work for putting in. Rainbow ranch bridge is too low to go under currently.

05/31/2023

We are currently recommending that boaters not put in at the Old Nye Fishing Access on the Stillwater River. A temporary bridge near the Rainbow Ranch combined with high water is preventing clearance for boats to pass in this location. Please plan on launching from alternative sites downstream.
