Halloween should be fun AND safe! Before heading out, make sure your child's costume checks these safety boxes:

๐ŸŽƒ Add reflective tape/stickers for visibility in the dark
๐ŸŽƒ Use face paint instead of masks that block vision
๐ŸŽƒ Provide glow sticks or flashlights
๐ŸŽƒ Choose the right size to prevent trips and falls
๐ŸŽƒ Pick sturdy, well-fitting shoes
๐ŸŽƒ Consider dropping an airtag in their candy bucket or affixing to their costume

Every child deserves a joyful and protected Halloween! For overall safety while trick-or-treating, help your child create a Laurenโ€™s Kids P.L.A.N., visit https://bit.ly/4h6tBUP

๐ŸŽƒ Big kids need safety plans too!
Halloween is full of fun, costumes, parties, and time with friends.

๐Ÿฌ Feeling confident saying no
๐ŸŒ™ Looking out for friends and themselves
๐Ÿ“ฑ Knowing who to call if they need you

Safe doesnโ€™t mean strict, it means supported. ๐Ÿ’™
