Who says dessert has to wait until after dinner? 🍰

Last week, we flipped the script and hosted our “Dessert Before Dinner” social—and it was a sweet success! Residents, staff, and guests gathered together to enjoy a delicious spread of spring dessert pies while sharing stories, laughter, and great conversation. 🥧🌷

This special event gave visitors a chance to connect with our wonderful residents and dedicated team, ask questions, and get a real feel for what daily life is like in our community.

We celebrated Earth Day yesterday with campus walks, golf cart rides, dirt pudding (yum😋), and a little recycling to show our planet some love! ♻️🌿

🎉 Happy 99th Birthday to Virginia Echsner! 🎂

Virginia celebrated her special day on April 19 with a wonderful surprise party surrounded by family and friends. She has been a cherished part of the Four Seasons community since 2017 and continues to inspire everyone around her.

When asked her secret to an amazing 99 years, she shared some timeless wisdom: “Take care of yourself, good diet, exercise, and family!”

Here’s to 99 years of beautiful memories and a lifetime of love that continues to grow. 🌸

Our residents had some very special visitors this week, and let’s just say… tails were wagging and smiles were everywhere! 🐾

We were thrilled to have the South Central Indiana Chapter of Love on a Leash stop by our Health Center! These sweet therapy dogs (and their wonderful handlers) brought so much joy, comfort, and plenty of cuddles to our residents.

Thank you to this incredible group for sharing your time, kindness, and four-legged friends with us. We can’t wait for your next visit! 💜🐶

🏇 Off to the Races! 🏇

Our residents had a fabulous time visiting Churchill Downs this week, the world-famous racetrack known for hosting the Kentucky Derby!

Fun fact: Churchill Downs has been welcoming guests since 1875 and is best known for its iconic Twin Spires—recognized around the globe as a symbol of horse racing history!

We’re so grateful for days like these filled with joy, connection, and new experiences.

Fletcher of The Architects Collaborative, reflecting Columbus’s tradition of blending meaningful architecture with light, openness, and connection to nature. Its soaring roofline and skylight bring in beautiful natural light—symbolizing hope and reflection in every season of life. 🌿☀️

For years, this quiet space has hosted Sunday services, community gatherings, memorials, and countless moments of reflection. It’s where friends gather, families come together, and residents find a calm pause in their day.

Whether it’s the sound of a hymn, a quiet prayer, or simply a moment of stillness, our chapel continues to be one of the most cherished places in our community.

We had such a great time enjoying a delicious fried chicken lunch today at The Kopper Kettle Inn Restaurant in Morristown, IN! 🍗✨

Good food, cozy vibes, and even better company—doesn’t get much better than that. If you’re ever in the area, it’s definitely worth a stop! 😋❤️

This past Saturday, residents and staff from Athens Crossing and Four Seasons came together to give back at the annual “Empty Bowl” fundraiser. ❤️

Now in its 28th year, this beloved all-you-can-eat soup event—held at Central Middle School—supports our local food pantries and helps fight hunger right here in our community.

We’re so proud to be part of something that brings people together for such a meaningful cause. A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated, and showed up to make a difference—one bowl at a time. 🥣✨

A big THANK YOU to Nathan from Nature’s Way, Inc. for sharing his expert tips on growing veggies and herbs in a raised garden bed. 🥕🌿 His knowledge (and seriously impressive green thumb!) gave our residents the confidence to dig in and start growing their own fresh favorites.
