Virtual rheumatology - how + why does it work? AndHealth’s virtual rheum visits are meant to be thorough and personalized, aiming to give you the level of care as if you were in-person, all from the comfort of home.

During your 60-minute appointment, your rheumatologist will listen closely to your health story and guide you through your virtual exam. They may order labs or imaging to get a complete picture of your health, just like an in-person visit.

With these steps, your rheumatology team — which also includes a clinical pharmacist, nurse practitioner, health coach and patient navigator — can co-create your treatment plan with you and recommend the best path forward to help you feel better.
