These opportunities include extensive training in a challenging, immersive and innovative learning environment augmented by a state-of-the-art skills lab. At the end of the four-year program, our doctors are more than “practice-ready”. They are able to offer their new employer a level of expertise and work ethic that is exceedingly competitive and a “cut above.” Our residents have benefited from a rare and emerging direction in medical education that immerses them in experiences of managing patients in a variety of clinical settings, including rural and community settings, as well as a Level 1 trauma center. Every year, Dr. 𝘛𝘰𝘱olnycky and her family hosts 𝘛𝘰𝘱toberfest where our residents, attendings, and families gather to celebrate everything Fall - hayrides to the pumpkin patch, corn mazes, pony rides (yes she owns them!), pumpkin carving/painting, pumpkin chili, fall drinks, bonfire and so much s’more!! ⁣

Here at Doctors we have a curriculum aimed at creating well rounded physicians! Our program allows for the opportunity to train at multiple different facilities including a level 1 trauma center.

Our program also has an intensive 4 year ultrasound curriculum built in, equipping our graduates with ultrasound skills far beyond their peers!

We have extensive surgical training with a formal DaVinci robotic training curriculum.

Here at Doctors we have the opportunity to learn from a variety of attendings each with their own unique experiences!

From Laborists to minimally invasive surgeons our attendings do it all! We are so grateful for the relationships we have with them and for all of the mentorship they provide our residents over their 4 years here at DH.

Fun Fact: Many of our attendings trained here at DH and liked it so much they decided to stick around!
