As a gal who used to pay $ for acrylic nails, I have seen some of the strongest, longest, healthy beautiful nails on men! Confession, I cry slightly inside as I cut them bc I would love to have them myself.

Some people are just looking for your license number to bill for services. One way to navigate this is to bring in a lawyer for all terms, conditions, & agreements. As a nurse it’s your job to protect that license. Don’t fall prey to “but he’s a Dr, he would never” thinking.

As mentioned yesterday, here’s my 🔥 autoclave story. Despite infection control & sterile processing saying it’s overkill I bought the autoclave. It caught fire in my garage. I got to learn how to use a fire extinguisher though.

13 years of foot care services, thousands of services & no infections. That’s good enough for me. Autoclaves are expensive & dangerous. It is regulatory in the Canadian market. Understand the Canadians foot care biz model is different than what I do here in the US. I will never ask FCN’s to put their homes at risk when I myself will never autoclave in my own home. 😉
