A Cincinnati school nurse commented that the best part of the training was “the visual training videos providing the step-by-step guidance in using the equipment.” This free training was made possible in part through the Save Our Sight Fund https://bit.ly/3TWPQD8 at the Ohio Department of Health.

The focus of the Save Our Sight Fund is to provide early detection of vision problems and the promotion of good eye health and safety.

Do you have someone at home that got a new phone or tablet or new video games recently? Are they taking regular breaks from these things? Our eyes need breaks!

We typically blink about 15-20 per minute, but when we look at and focus on screens, that rate drops significantly – causing our eyes to dry out! Put those devices down and take a winter walk or at least do something around the house. Your eyes will thank you.

✨ Superpower time!
In cold, windy weather your eyes get dry faster — but blinking is your built-in shield! 💧

👀 Why superheroes blink:

💦 Spreads fresh tears

🛡️ Protects from dust + germs

🔄 Refreshes during screen time

When eyes get TOO dry? They water to protect you — it’s your tear glands going into Hero Mode!

🔥 Super Blink Challenge:
Blink 10 times fast ➡️ Pause ➡️ 10 times slow.
Do it anytime your eyes feel dry!
