Today we remember Gary, one of the people we had the honor of supporting.

Gary brought humor, personality, and fun to every room he entered. He built real connections with staff and the people around him, and his smile was something none of us will forget. Being part of his life was a privilege, and he left a lasting mark on our team and community.

We are grateful for the time we had with him and for the memories that will stay with us.

Rest easy, Gary. You will be missed.

In 1930, Peoria, Illinois passed one of the first laws recognizing the white cane as a symbol of independence for people who are blind. Drivers were required to stop when someone used it to cross the street.
