Laws about accessibility, funding, education, transportation, healthcare—and inclusion—are being made every day.

But how often are people with disabilities at the table when those decisions are made?

Representation in government isn’t symbolic. It’s essential. Because no one understands the needs, barriers, and solutions better than the people living them.

We believe people with disabilities should be leaders, lawmakers, and decision-makers—not just advocates asking for a seat at the table.

When government reflects everyone, policies get better for everyone.

🎃👻 Spooky Season is in Full Swing at OTS! 👻🎃

From haunted store aisles to costume chaos, our clients and staff have been getting into the Halloween spirit! Whether it's checking out creepy decorations, rocking banana suits, or just enjoying the fall vibes — everyone’s having a blast.

We love how Halloween brings out the fun in all of us. Thanks to our amazing DSPs and families for helping make the season full of laughs and spooky memories! 🕸🦇🕷

🎃 Halloween and Accessibility 👻

Trick or treating should be fun for every child—but not all neighborhoods or houses are accessible. Steps, steep driveways, and lack of lighting can make it tough for kids with disabilities to join in the fun.

That’s why more families are getting creative:
🍬 Using “trunk-or-treat” events in accessible parking lots
🍬 Adding ramps or clear pathways to porches
🍬 Offering non-food treats for kids with allergies or sensory needs (look for teal pumpkins!)

We believe Halloween should be a celebration where every child feels included—because magic is for everyone.
