Tomorrow! Let’s talk about the topic we avoid most. Most people don’t avoid end-of-life planning because they don’t care, they avoid it because it feels heavy, awkward, or like tempting fate.

Planning doesn’t make death happen sooner. It makes living feel lighter NOW.

This workshop is about giving yourself permission to talk about what matters: your values, your comfort, your legacy, before someone else has to guess. I invite you to slow down, reflect, and put your end-of-life wishes into words. Together, we’ll explore the practical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of death planning. From medical directives and legacy letters to the rituals and comforts that matter most to you.

Through guided reflection, quiet writing time, and optional sharing, you’ll begin crafting a “death plan” that’s as unique as your life. One that brings peace of mind to you and your loved ones. Come prepared to write, reflect, and maybe even laugh a little as we face the inevitable with honesty, heart, and a touch of grace.

Please bring a pen and notebook or paper to take notes!

One minute you’re fine. Answering emails. Folding laundry. Functioning like a semi-responsible adult.

And then suddenly.....you can’t remember why you walked into a room, you’re crying over something that makes zero sense, or you’re staring at your phone like it personally betrayed you. So naturally, your brain goes:

“Cool cool cool… I must be losing it.”

Astronaut Reid Wiseman lost his wife to cancer in 2020. Yesterday he blasted off on an historic mission around the moon. The 50-year-old said he had to have a heartbreaking discussion with his two teenage daughters about the plan for them in the event of his own death.

Wiseman has raised daughters Ellie and Katherine as a single dad after the death of his wife Carroll. He was prepared to quit his job as an astronaut when she was was diagnosed, but Carroll refused to let him give up his dream job.

Wiseman said he wanted to mentally prepare his girls on the possibility he might not return from the 10-day Artemis II mission.

Wiseman told them: “Here’s where the will is, here’s where the trust documents are, and if anything happens to me, here’s what’s going to happen to you.”

He said, “I actually wish more people in everyday life talked to their families in that way because you never know what the next day is going to bring."
