Being aware of caffeine intake is essential! There is no recommended safe amount of caffeine, in anyone under 18 years of age. The very maximum amount of caffeine recommended as safe in most adults, who know they don’t have a high-risk, underlying condition, is 400mg per day. Most popular energy drinks contain at least 200mg of caffeine per serving.

The family’s attorney said that Larissa Nicole Rodriguez had no pre-existing heart problems and that “the only thing she had in her system was caffeine.”

Franklin County Public Health provided notification yesterday of another measles outbreak in Columbus. Please ensure your child’s MMR vaccines are Up To Date.

Columbus Public Health said one of the cases had one dose of the MMR vaccine. The other five cases were unvaccinated.
