Franklin County Public Health provided notification yesterday of another measles outbreak in Columbus. Please ensure your child’s MMR vaccines are Up To Date.

Columbus Public Health said one of the cases had one dose of the MMR vaccine. The other five cases were unvaccinated.

Cannabis use among youth is an increasing public health concern, driven in part by evolving policies that expand access and shift social norms. An emerging consequence is the rise in cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome (CHS). This study in Pediatrics Open Science examined trends in CHS-related acute healthcare encounters among youth across diverse sociodemographic groups and found that CHS-related encounters are rising rapidly, with disproportionately higher increases among female and minority youth. https://bit.ly/45y65LI
