We are currently looking for a Director of Nursing that is a pleasant and professional team leader. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee all clinical operations, oversight and management of clinical personnel, adhering to regulatory compliance, clinical and operational process development, and meeting clinical excellence benchmarks by improving patient outcomes in the home health setting.
Directly manage a clinical team of approximately 15 nurses
Conducting admission, re-certification, and resumption of care visits
Conducting spot-checks in the field for clinical and non-clinical services
Assisting with fielding phone calls (from doctor’s offices, case managers, hospitals, etc.)
Assisting with resolving client issues and complaints
Assisting with scheduling clinical staff
Assisting with QA notes and documentation (assessments, shift notes, etc.)
Being part of the on-call rotation
This position involves 30% of local travel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
5 years’ home healthcare experience
3-5 years DON and nursing management experience
Medicaid Payor experience
Oasis assessment experience
Graduated from an Accredited School of Nursing
Preferred
5 years’ floor nursing experience
Scheduling experience
Medicare experience
Wide range of client experience (MRDD, autism spectrum disorder, adults and children with developmental delays, elderly, and other psychological disorders)
