I have been warning people off NNS for a while and erythritol is proving to be particularly nasty. Be aware that it is commonly combined with other NNS (like monk fruit) and called 'natural' because it is a sugar alcohol. Just remember that arsenic is also 'natural'and quite lethal.

Found in everything from protein bars to energy drinks, erythritol has long been considered a safe alternative to sugar.
