What is Probate Pre-Screening? Netcare’s Probate Pre-Screening Program helps determine whether someone meets the criteria for involuntary psychiatric hospitalization, when a person is at risk of harming themselves or others and is unwilling or unable to seek care on their own.

Requests typically come from family members, providers, or others concerned about a loved one’s safety and well-being.

At Netcare, our teams work alongside first responders to help calm situations and connect people to care. The following Community-Based Services work in the community to ensure the safety of all individuals in Franklin County:

- Community Mobile Team (CMT): Mental health professionals respond in the community to assess needs and provide support
- ROW One Transportation: Provides safe transportation for individuals who need a place to stabilize
- Probate Pre-Screening: Helps connect individuals to further evaluation and treatment when needed

Together, these services help thousands of people each year get the care they need, often before a crisis can escalate.
