One of the most common questions people ask when they first start using a sauna is:

“Why don’t I sweat right away?”

The truth is that sweating responses can vary widely from person to person.

Factors like hydration levels, circulation, metabolic rate, medications, underlying infections or conditions and even nervous system regulation can all influence how quickly the body begins to sweat.
