Over the past 12 days, we’ve shared stories that remind us why adult literacy matters.
We celebrated milestones so meaningful they made the tree.
We lifted learner voices shaping conversations about inclusion.
We shared growth: 45 adult learners served across 5 Ohio counties in this calendar year alone.
We heard about first voicemails, speeches prepared, confidence gained, and skills once thought impossible now within reach.
We highlighted learners giving back as volunteers, entrepreneurs, artists, advocates, and community leaders.
Each story reflects more than reading and writing. It reflects dignity, confidence, belonging, and opportunity.
As we close out our 12 Days of Literacy, we’re deeply grateful to everyone who learns with us, teaches with us, partners with us, and believes in the power of lifelong learning.
If these stories resonated with you and you’re looking for a way to give this season, we invite you to support Adult Literacy Ohio with a donation. Your generosity helps ensure more adults with disabilities can access one-on-one, person-centered literacy support and continue building skills that open doors in everyday life.
Thank you for being part of this community and for believing, with us, that it’s never too late to learn.
