The year is almost over and we're taking a look back at all that happened throughout the year here at DSACO!

In 2025, DSACO has welcomed 38 new babies and supported 15 expectant mothers who received their diagnosis prenatally.

Many of these families have already participated in DSACO programs and events and felt an overwhelming connection to their new DSACO family. We can't wait to see where 2026 takes them as they navigate this new, extraordinary chapter!

Thank you to COSI - Center of Science and Industry for helping us spread holiday joy this year!

Each family that we supported through Adopt-A-Family left with a COSI Learning Lunchbox for their loved one with Down syndrome.

These COSI STEAM kits, funded by Franklin County Commissioners, will help support fun learning during the winter break!

As we close out 2025, we're taking a look back at some of the exciting things that happened this year!

In 2025 DSACO expanded our service area by adding TWO new counties in Southern Ohio, bringing us from 23 to 25 counties served.

With the addition of Pike and Scioto County, DSACO is able to offer our programs and resources to even more families with a loved one with Down syndrome.

Before the end of the year, we're taking a look back at some of the amazing things that went on in 2025!

In 2025 DSACO provided twelve community outreach opportunities that strengthened engagement with diverse families across our community.

These opportunities were designed to address educational needs and social connection, providing families with access to information, resources, and opportunities to engage with one another in a welcoming environment.

We're looking forward to even more connection with our diverse families in 2026!

DSACO's Summer Learning Academy is back for 2026!

Designed for students on IEPs, our program provides personalized, one-on-one, and small group instruction led by certified teachers.

This exciting program provides a fun and safe environment for your student to progress in math, literacy, and social skills over the summer! 🌞

Summer Learning Academy runs from Monday, June 8 to Thursday, July 9. Classes are Monday through Thursday from 9 AM - 12 PM each day. Applications open up on Friday, March 6!

DSACO was thrilled to celebrate the holiday season at Governor Mike DeWine's annual holiday party at the Governor's Mansion this past weekend.

It was truly a winter wonderland, complete with holiday festivities and beautiful decorations. Our families enjoyed spending time with one another and, of course, hanging out with the Governor!

Join us for a splashing good time as our teens and adults combine for an epic pool party! People with Down syndrome ages 13 and over, along with their immediate siblings and parents, are invited to join us at the Westerville Community Center on Sunday, February 8 from 5:30 - 7 PM.

Enjoy time with other DSACO families while exploring all the exciting water activities like the lazy river, slides, and splash area.
