We recently designed, built and installed this classic monument in a cemetery near New Albany, MS. The dentil moulding and hand-tooled Acanthus leaf corner carvings were popular in the early 1900’s. The design is timeless and will be admired by many future generations.

We are proud and humbled to have constructed this memorial for the 16 men of Yankee 72 who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country. It is located on Hwy 82 near Itta Bena, MS.

The final step on this monument is to "hand tool" the letters. A craftsman uses small hand tools to clean up each raised letter so they are uniform and perfectly shaped. The raised letters on this Cherokee marble monument make it a timeless classic.

We recently installed a second columbarium at Calvary Episcopal in Cleveland. A columbarium is place for permanent storage of ashes or "cremains" after a person is cremated. These were designed for 32 spaces or "niches" that can be used for either 1 or 2 people in each. They can be designed in any size from 1 niche to several thousand. Larger columbariums are typically located at churches, universities, and even some cemeteries, while smaller ones are usually placed in the cemetery for an individual or a family. In addition to serving as permanent storage and memorialization, a columbarium can also be a great fundraiser. Call Columbus Marble Works in Columbus or Greenwood for more information.

The first photo is the stone we were etching in the video. Awesome clarity! The other photo is an example of a portrait that is etched. These can be etched directly on a black monument or etched on a granite tile and inset in your monument.
