November is Hospice and Palliative Care Month. While both hospice and palliative care focus on comfort and improving quality of life, they serve patients at different stages. Palliative care can be provided at any time during a serious illness, with or without curative treatment. Hospice care, on the other hand, is offered when a person is no longer seeking curative treatment and is typically in the final six months of life. Join us for a meaningful morning of music, reflection, and community at Coffee Time on Tuesday, November 11 at 10 a.m. in the Heritage Pointe 11th Floor Community Room. This free event begins with fresh-baked breakfast treats and socializing, followed by a special musical presentation at 10:30 a.m. Long-time Columbus musician Bill Cohen will perform “Songs of Gratitude,” a concert celebrating thankfulness in the face of life’s challenges. The program will also include a tribute to veterans, honoring their service as another reason to be grateful. Coffee Time is part of our commitment to lifelong learning and connection, offering engaging presentations in a welcoming atmosphere.
