Established in 1984 as a regulatory consulting firm specializing in FDA submission, Applied Laboratories, Inc. has evolved into a full-service contract manufacturer organization. We are registered with the FDA as both a drug and medical device manufacturing site. Initial construction began in 1988 and facilities have grown to a current footprint of 200,000 sq-ft — designed to facilitate Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) for pharmaceutical, medical device, and health care industries. Job Description

Applied Laboratories, Inc. is a pharmaceutical manufacturing company located in Columbus, IN . We manufacture over-the-counter liquids, gels, ointments, creams, and lotions that are primarily for nasal care, eye care, wound care, and respiratory care. Blairex Laboratories, Inc. is also located in Columbus and is the sister company, housing the marketing and distribution center.

We currently are searching for qualified 1st shift Quality Control Technicians who take pride in their work. The QC Tech will operate out of the Applied facility and is responsible for: compiling laboratory test data, perform appropriate analyses, line checks which include wet chemistry, instrumentation analysis, pulling samples, GMP documentation, audit records, identify quality problems and recommend solutions. Candidates should be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and comprehension of basic mathematical concepts. We are looking for candidates that have “can-do” attitudes.

Additional requirements:

2+ years of experience in a laboratory environment (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
Associates degree with specialization in Science is a plus
cGMP experience a plus
Ability to work in a team environment or with minimal supervision
