What does healing typically look like after surgery? It can vary significantly from patient to patient because many factors are at play. This patient is just 6 days out from upper and lower blepharoplasty along with lower face and neck lift. This is a fairly typical amount of bruising and swelling for the surgeries performed. I combined elements of a high SMAS midface and deep plane lower face/neck lift for the facelift. Not every patient gets the exact same technique but I find this to be a very effective, long lasting surgery for my patients. Within the next week most if not all of her bruising will be completely gone and then we wait for swelling to resolve, tissue to settle, and incisions to soften. This patient is from out of state so most likely I won’t have her final after photos from my camera but I already know we hit a home run for her and I’m thankful that she was willing to share her surgery journey.

Before and 10 months after lower blepharoplasty, fat transfer, and laser resurfacing. A permanent, life changing transformation for this lovely patient of mine. This patient is about 2 months out from neck and jawline liposuction with non surgical skin tightening and upper blepharoplasty. I typically perform these procedures simultaneously in my office under local anesthetic and they take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours total. The combination of long lasting results, minimal downtime, plus the safety profile of these procedures is unmatched. It is important to understand there were no incisions as would typically be performed in a neck lift. I classify this as my non-surgical neck lift. The blepharoplasty has given her bright, beautiful eyes which is icing on the cake. She is glowing after these procedures. Another satisfied patient and doctor!

Before and after endoscopic brow lift, upper and lower blepharoplasty, lower face and neck lift, full face CO2 laser resurfacing. She is approximately 3 months out from surgery and is looking fantastic. A beautiful and natural transformation in nearly every aspect of the aging face.
