🐶 A Day in My Life at Legacy Reserve at Old Town 🐾
Hi. Yes, I’m the resident good boy. 🐕
I live at Legacy Reserve at Old Town, and let me tell you… I am living the good life.
First of all — the PEOPLE here?
Top tier. 10/10. Would adopt all of them if I could.
Every morning I go on my sniff-ari walk around the beautiful grounds 🌳
So many friendly faces stop to say
“Who’s a good baby?!”
(It’s me. It’s always me.)
My human is happier here too. She has friends, fun activities, and doesn’t just sit around all day — which means I get extra walks, extra cuddles, and extra treats (I’m working that angle 🦴).
There are cozy spots for naps while my human plays games or hangs out with friends. Sometimes I even attend social hour — strictly for morale support and snack supervision.
The best part?
Nobody here thinks it’s weird when residents stop mid-conversation to pet me. In fact… it’s encouraged. I am basically staff.
I give tail wags.
They give belly rubs.
It’s a perfect system.
So if your human is looking for a place that feels like home —

The idea was simple and beautiful:
If you don’t need it — donate it.
If you see something you need — take it.
Clothes, accessories, and little treasures found new homes, and hearts were just as full as the tables were at the start. It’s moments like these that remind us that community is about sharing, caring, and looking out for one another.

We are thrilled to celebrate Barbara Cook as our Resident of the Month here at Legacy Reserve at Old Town!
Barbara is a proud mother of two sons, a loving grandmother of two, and a great-grandmother of one. She has been part of our Legacy family since June 2025, and we are so blessed she chose to call our community home.
Barbara and her family chose Legacy Reserve because of our hard-working staff, friendly residents, and the peace of mind they felt during the decision-making process. She especially remembers how our wonderful sales counselor Caitlyn brought comfort and joy while helping them every step of the way.
Before retirement, Barbara dedicated 42 years of hard work to Hardaway Construction (formerly Standard Concrete) — talk about dedication and strength!
Her favorite thing about Legacy Reserve? Meeting new people and making new friends. These days, you’ll often find Barbara shopping, crafting, and spending time laughing with friends around the community.

We are proud to celebrate Autumn Sanchez Guerra as our January Associate Bee of the Month!
Autumn is a hardworking mother of three with over 10 years of experience in the food and restaurant industry. She has been a valued member of the Legacy team for nearly two years, serving as a talented line cook who brings passion and creativity to every dish she prepares.
She truly enjoys the creative outlet she finds in cooking, and it shows in the care she puts into her work each day. Outside of work, Autumn loves spending quality time with family and friends, reading, and cooking authentic Mexican food.
Autumn is a wonderful team player who always steps up to support those around her. We are so grateful for her dedication and are honored to recognize her as our Employee of the Month.

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful dining demonstration with our Executive Chef, T’Corey. He walked everyone through the steps of preparing his delicious chicken salad casserole, sharing tips, techniques, and a whole lot of personality along the way. Our residents loved the experience and the tasting was a hit!
