They thoughtfully purchased all the decorations, and together they’ve been spreading smiles by decorating walkers with bright, festive garland.
It’s small acts of kindness like this that make our community feel so special. 💛

Our residents stepped back in time today for “The Bootlegger’s Hideaway Moonshine Tasting” at Bernard’s Bar! 🍶

With rustic décor, great conversation, and a little sip of tradition, residents gathered together to enjoy an afternoon of tasting and storytelling with Joey. Events like this are a wonderful way to spark memories, share laughs, and create new moments with friends right here at Legacy Reserve at Old Town.

✨ Exciting News for Our Residents & Families at Legacy Reserve at Old Town! ✨

We are proud to partner with Stout Healthcare, our in-house therapy team, to provide convenient therapy services right here in our community.

Stout Healthcare offers physical, occupational, and speech therapy services designed to help residents maintain their strength, independence, mobility, and confidence while continuing to enjoy life at Legacy Reserve.

These services can help residents who may be experiencing:
• Balance concerns or risk of falls
• Recent illness, surgery, or hospitalization
• Weakness or decreased mobility
• Difficulty with daily activities
• Speech or swallowing concerns

The best part? Therapy can be provided right here in the comfort of our community, making it easier for residents to receive the care they need without the stress of traveling to outside appointments.

Our goal is always to help residents live well, stay active, and continue thriving in the place they call home.

Tiasha was born in Chicago, Illinois, and is a proud wife, mother of three, and grandmother of four. For nearly four years, she has been a valued member of the care staff team at Legacy Reserve at Old Town, where she has made a lasting impact on both residents and fellow team members.
Tiasha truly enjoys the important role she plays in the lives of our residents. Her compassionate heart, dedication to care, and willingness to lend a helping hand to her coworkers make her an incredible part of our community. She takes great pride in ensuring our residents feel supported, valued, and well cared for each day.
When she’s not working, Tiasha enjoys printing custom T-shirts, shopping, and dining on her favorite seafood dishes.
We are incredibly grateful for the hard work, kindness, and positive spirit Tiasha brings to Legacy Reserve every day.

🍰 Life is a little sweeter at Legacy Reserve at Old Town! Today our residents celebrated National Pound Cake Day with a delicious pound cake tasting filled with sweet treats, great conversation, and plenty of smiles. Our residents sampled several flavors and had the tough job of choosing a favorite. After all the tasting and friendly debate, the winning flavor was Red Velvet from Nothing Bundt Cakes! ❤️ Moments like these remind us that some of the best parts of community living are the simple joys—sharing dessert, laughter, and time together.

Our community bus heads out for a midweek shopping adventure every single Wednesday:
🛒 9:00 AM – Depart for Publix
🕙 10:15 AM – Pick-up & return to the community
🛍️ 1:00 PM – Depart for Walmart
🕝 2:30 PM – Pick-up & return to Legacy
From fresh flowers and bakery treats to household essentials and a little “just because” shopping — our residents love turning errands into an outing. 💐🥖

🌟 Ms. Victoria 🌟

Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Victoria brings warmth, grace, and a sweet spirit to everyone she meets. A devoted wife, mother of three, grandmother of seven, and great-grandmother of one, Victoria’s legacy of love extends far beyond her beautiful family.
After retiring from Johns Hopkins University Hospital, Victoria began a new chapter when her daughter discovered Legacy Reserve at Old Town. She admits she was a little reluctant at first—but it didn’t take long for her to realize it was one of the best decisions she’s ever made.
Since joining the Hive in June 2025, Victoria has embraced community living with open arms.
In her own words:
“I have been blessed by meeting such beautiful people here. There is such a sweet spirit in the building. You can’t help being touched by it.”
Her favorite part of Legacy? The daily fellowship with friends and neighbors.
“There is always someone to offer a hug, or share a smile. It just makes me feel good being here.”
Victoria, thank you for being such a beautiful reflection of the kindness you witness. Your warmth, faith, and joyful presence bless our community every day.
