Gut healthy and delicious!

Cabbage is full of vitamins and minerals, fiber and antioxidants, but many people complain that cabbage gives them gas or bloating.

The most likely reason for this is because your body is not used to breaking it down.

The best way to approach vegetables your body isn't used to is to cook them thoroughly.

For these cabbage rolls , I start by dropping an entire head of cabbage into a pot of boiling water for a few minutes, Peeling off the leaves from the outside in as they soften.

The mix in the middle is a combination of rice, quinoa, cooked, ground beef or lamb, onions, garlic and and an array of other spices bring off all the flavors together.

Roll the filling into the leaves (I like to double up) and pour a whole jar of marinara sauce.

Top with your favorite cheese and throw into the oven at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly.

This is how I save time by making dinner and lunch prep all at once.

Enjoy!

“Don’t slobber on the yoga mats…” 😂

One of my favorite moments during our trip home for Christmas was rolling on the floor with my niece, laughing, being silly, and of course, dodging big, wet Apollo kisses.

These are some of the small but impactful ways we can create the change, to be the impact!

Send this to someone who sits at a desk all day!

This full body flow uses multiple planes of motion, opens the posture and lengthens the hip flexors and psoas.

I love to use this as morning mobility if time is short,

Try for 4-5 reps on each side, pausing when you find a spot that needs more love and attention. Keep it slow, and incorporate deep, slow belly breaths as you flow.

Sustainable health isn’t about perfection, but adaptability.

It's a lot like making a cup of tea, and not the kind that come in a box.

I'm talking about intentionally choosing your ingredients, finding the perfect balance of flavors and herbal benefits, resulting in a cozy cup of tea and exactly what you need in the moment.

Your flavor preferences may change and shift, over time, and you may need to adapt your ingredients based on what your body needs from day to day.

Simple but incredibly effective 🙌

Because I needed MORE plants…

Maybe not, but what do you expect from me?

Send me to Home Depot for DIY supplies and I may, in fact, come home with 3 new plants.

Hey, I never say no to extra nature in my home while the earth is in hibernation, it’s good for the immune system and the soul.

Here’s why it’s not that simple 👇

Behavioral change is a complex process that includes so many different physical, mental and neurological factors.

After a decade in the fitness industry I can tell you there is no amount of willpower that can defy the influence these factors have on lasting change, especially when it comes to health.

If you’re seeking LASTING change in the new year, be sure to follow along for practical tips and mindset shifts!

In 2025 I learned to prioritize my peace...

This year reminded me that becoming the best version of myself isn't about doing more, working harder or knowing more people—it was about choosing better.

Investing in hobbies that light me up.

Embracing food freedom like never before...

Building friendships that feel safe, authentic and mutually empowering.

I discovered that prioritizing my peace is the best thing that I can do for myself and every single person I have the privilege of serving.

THIS is what creating the change looks like...

It’s often the smallest moments that create the biggest shifts in mindsets and behaviors.

This may look like rolling out some yoga mats in the living room and starting a stretch circle with 3 generations of women in your family... who knows?

What is one small way you are creating the change in your family to make health and self-care a fun and effortless part of your life?

Save this one for after that holiday meal, you’ll thank me later.

These slow figure 4 drops, when paired with intentional breath can do wonders for easing your bloated gut post holiday meal.

This movement brings blood flow to the digestive organs to get things moving in the right direction, while easing the nervous system into “rest and digest mode”. That’s a win-win during a stressful season, if you ask me!
