2️⃣9️⃣ The year of empowered softness ✨️

In this final year of my 20's, I'm committed to stepping into my feminine essence, prioritizing stillness and personal boundaries, embracing my creativity, sensuality, spirituality, and adventurous spirit.

Last year was a year of refinement - chipping away at the things that were holding me back from my highest self.

This year is my year of RADIANCE 🙌✨️
Leading with unapologetic authenticity and boldness, making my mark on the world and letting my light shine brighter than ever.

Here's to an incredible year of connection, adventure, and Divine alignment! 🥂🎂🥰🙌

This training is going to be a game changer for me…

I’m learning so much in this Trauma-Informed Breathwork Practitioner Training, and I’m only a little over a month into it!

What I’ve been experiencing:
- Deep healing in my own journey with daily integration - Sitting with all my feelings and embracing curiosity in that space
- A somatic awareness and attunement like never before - benefiting my person practice, marriage, friendships and client sessions
Identifying trauma imprints and how they have influenced my sense of self and limiting beliefs my entire life
- A deeper connection to Source than I have ever experienced (and in a MUCH different way than my Southern Baptist upbringing)
- An excitement to share what I’m learning with clients, friends and family - which has sparked conversations that are actively breaking generational trauma within my family lineage

This is incredibly deep and powerful work, and I’m just getting started! Follow along as I keep growing and sharing all that I am discovering along the way!

I exercise for longevity…

And boy, am I reminded why I work out every time I buy dog food!

Where in your day to day life do you notice why exercise, especially functional strength, is important?

I could finally enjoy foods I’d feared for years…

I spent so many years fearing and avoiding gluten, lectin, lactose and the ever-growing list of other food sensitivities.

Little did I know that cutting out FODMAP’s and whole food groups was only making things worse. What I really needed was the space and the environment of safety for my gut to heal.

It wasn’t about figuring out what was “wrong with me” but learning to listen to and trust the body signals I had been taught to ignore.

It wasn’t about overwhelming my body with restrictive diets and intense exercise, but regulating my nervous system to support gut regularity, hormone harmony and immune health.

These were the shifts that transformed my relationship with food, movement and body-image, and I’ve spent nearly a decade helping other women re-gaining this same freedom and body trust.

If you’re ready to take your power back over the constant food fear and restriction and heal the root cause of your gut dysfunction for good, let’s connect!

Check out the link in my bio to book your Food Freedom Breakthrough Call. I’d love to hear more about you and your journey.

A sweet treat to support gut regularity & hormone harmony.

These are dairy, gluten and refined sugar-free, plus a great source of fiber, iron, magnesium and other nutrients ideal for supporting your luteal phase.

Shoutout to , this is a spin-off of her recipe and it’s BY FAR my favorite so far. I did make a few adjustments. I did not have tahini on hand – I used almond butter– but sesame seeds are SO good for seed cycling and I’m excited to get some and try it for the next batch!

𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗲:
5 dates - soaked & pitted
1 1/4 cup roasted sweet potato (I used 2 medium)
2 T dark choc chips, melted
1T vanilla
2T almond butter (she used tahini)
2 T coconut oil (I added this)
1-2 T maple syrup
3T cacao powder
generous pinch salt
1 1/3 cup oat flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
Toppings & mix-in’s: chopped walnuts & dark chocolate chunks/chips

*I recommend using an emulsion or regular blender to mix the wet ingredients for the smoothest results.

Add to a greased or parchment paper-lined loaf pan.

Bake at 375 for 25 minutes

My favorite way to enjoy this is warm, ~15 seconds in the microwave, with a cup of .botanicals.co tea.

Let’s turn this basic bathroom into a woodland paradise!

I’ve waited long enough to tackle this project!

All of these updates will be renter-friendly, and I will be creatively navigating around the previous tenants' interesting choices. 😅🙃

Follow along for part 2 as I transform this space with creativity and thrifted finds.

POV: You rescue 2 dogs that both turn out to have gut issues...

This is how I know God has a sense of humor!

Both dogs used to deal with acid reflux and digestive issues, frantically eating grass, throwing up and having accidents inside,

After plenty of research and trial and error with food and ingredients, I decided to approach their gut dysfunction in the same way I do humans -- treating the issue at its source.

Turns out, by adding some probiotics and soluble fiber to their food did the trick! This is the one thing that has consistently brought gut harmony for both dogs, without relying on medication or breaking the bank.

Have your fur babies ever delt with gut issues? What has worked best for them?

𝗗𝗼𝗴 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴: (rough measurements, I eye-ball the whole thing)
3 T Greek yogurt
3 T ground flax seeds
1 can sardines (in oil or water, no seasonings added) - you can sub tuna or salmon
1 large mason jar warm water (binds the flax seeds)

Drizzle over your pup's food like salad dressing.

*Disclaimer - this is not animal medical advice, always consult your vet if you have concerns. This is simply my experience with approaching the gut dysfunction in my pets in the same way I do humans, treating the issue at its source.
