Meet Kristina!

Kristina is excited to be part of Learning Aid Ohio and is passionate about helping Learners with disabilities reach their learning goals and grow into lifelong readers.

"I love supporting Learners as they build confidence and work toward their reading goals. As a Special Education teacher for the past 10 years and a Certified Academic Language Practitioner (CALP), I use the Orton-Gillingham (OG) method to provide structured, effective reading instruction."

Kristina looks forward to partnering with families and supporting Learners on their reading journey through Learning Aid Ohio.

Spring enrollment is open!

Learning Aid Ohio offers FREE one-on-one tutoring for students on IEPs. Our program connects families with qualified tutors who provide personalized support to keep learners engaged, build confidence, and make progress all semester long.

Spring Semester: January 10 – May 8
Applications are processed in the order received.

Families can interview tutors in our program or recruit their own trusted candidate.

Meet Nowel!

Nowel loves teaching and inspiring Learners to grow and expand their skills. Having been an English learner herself, she understands the challenges of learning a new language and is passionate about helping Learners overcome obstacles.

"I thrive on supporting Learners to achieve their goals and helping them navigate difficult moments in their learning journey. It’s rewarding to guide them and celebrate their progress along the way."

Nowel is flexible with her schedule and excited to meet new Learners, sharing her love of teaching and learning through Learning Aid Ohio.

Ebony is excited to be part of Learning Aid Ohio, where she enjoys helping Learners reach their academic goals and achieve things they once thought were impossible.

Robin is a licensed Intervention Specialist passionate about helping Learners with diverse learning needs grow, gain confidence, and reach their full potential.

"I love creating personalized, engaging, and evidence-based lessons that help Learners succeed in reading, math, organization, and IEP-driven goals. My mission is to make learning not only effective but also fun, because every Learner deserves to feel successful!"
