Happy February! Here's what we've got in store for this month.

The big story around the Village this week was SNOW. Lots of it. We got between 12"-14" inches between Saturday and Sunday evening!

We're so grateful to those of our staff who stayed overnight during the storm to make sure our residents were cared for, our parking lot was plowed, and everything was working at the normal level of operation.

There are 48 days left until spring, in case you were wondering!

We've really learned a lot about our friend here since posting her picture last week: She's a bingo good luck charm, a favorite of visiting kids, and a trusty guard cat!

So, after utilizing a *highly* scientific process to decide her name, we're officially calling her....

🧩Two new puzzles were just getting started in the first floor lobby.
❄ 🐦There's no forgetting that it's still winter!
🎲Games were underway in the Healthcare Center Lounge.
✋Aromatherapy hand massages are always appreciated.

This cat statue has been in the hallway outside of our library for... forever? At least long enough that no one remembers where it originally came from.

It's a shame that it doesn't have a name. Should we change that?

Now that the busyness of the holidays is past us, we’d like to extend a special thanks to our Maintenance team for all their dedicated work. In addition to their regular duties, they’re the ones who decorate the Village building and grounds for Christmas and the ones who tear down and reset after the holidays are over. From the public areas to behind the scenes spaces, they keep things running, keep things moving, and keep things looking great. Thanks, guys!
