Changes are coming to our industry!

Senate Bill 56 has advanced through the Ohio House of Representatives and is now headed back to the Senate. This bill furthers prohibition and the establishment of a "Ma*****na" Monopoly in Ohio by banning the sale of intoxicating h**p outside of a dispensary and defining it as any cannabis product containing more than 0.5mg THC per serving and 2mg THC per package. This bill also creates new criminal penalties for cannabis possession. One positive amendment is that this bill would exclude drinkable cannabis products from the ban, and they will be allowed in certain contexts.

However, if passed, we will no longer be able to offer most of our THC products here in Ohio where the majority of our customer base is located. In preparation of a decision, we're looking to thin out our inventory so we will be able to adapt to the coming changes and keep offering the best products that we're able to. While we wait on a decision, we ask anyone who can to please reach out to your local Senators in Ohio and keep applying pressure. Governor DeWine issues Executive Order banning "Intoxicating H**p" in Ohio

Beginning next Tuesday, October 14, all intoxicating h**p products will be banned in Ohio for 90 days. This temporary ban is supposed to allow for legislators to establish further, permanent regulation for the h**p industry here in Ohio. Before the ban goes into place, we're hosting a 30% off sale so you can stock up on these amazing products before they're gone.

While we're in favor of sensible regulation, we unfortunately find ourselves caught in the middle of a battle between uneducated politicians, and manipulative chemists. The cannabis industry needs cleaned up, and that's one of the main reasons that we self-regulate in the ways we do by only offering real THC that's been 3rd party lab tested and never sprayed with pesticides.

We knew the risk when stepping into a "grey market" like this, but we felt that over time by leading with education, transparency and authenticity we would be able to create real positive change in this industry. Maybe that was naive of us, but nonetheless we're so happy we gave it a go. Each and every one of you that we've connected with along the way have inspired us to keep going every day. So, we aren't going to stop, but expect things to adapt and evolve. We don't know exactly what the future holds, but we're going to keep bringing this same energy of finding the best and cleanest natural solutions. Onto the next chapter.
