Dr. Sey and the Cath Lab team recently completed Columbus Regional Health's 500th afib ablation case.

Cardiac ablation is a minimally invasive procedure that treats abnormal heart rhythms, also know as arrhythmias. Both radiofrequency ablations and pulse field ablations are offered right here in South Central Indiana. Center of Excellence Announcement! 🎉The Columbus Regional Health Lung Institute has been named a Center of Excellence by GO2 for Lung Cancer for its ongoing commitment to providing patient-centered, evidence-based lung cancer screening.

Columbus Regional Health is pleased to announce our recent recertification as a Primary Stroke Center from the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC).

Our stroke response team is ready 24/7 to respond when a stroke is suspected. Emergency responders can activate the team and have it ready to receive patients the moment they arrive at the hospital.

Members of the team include ED providers, nurses, imaging staff, pharmacists and lab personnel who all have specialized training to provide stroke care. Our stroke response efforts are analyzed and reviewed regularly to verify processes meet and exceed national performance standards.

"I was hospitalized for six days. The first five days my dad was in respite care at the Hospice Inpatient Center. As his caregiver, I got a call that his condition changed and he was not waking. The thought that he was dying and I wouldn’t get to say goodbye haunted me.... Thanks to Kristi I got an hour with my dad to say goodbye. I am forever grateful. "
