The American College of Nurse-Midwives has released its updated Clinical Bulletin "Midwifery Provision of Home Birth Services" it has been published in the current edition of the Journal of Midwifery and Women's Health. Full online access is included with your ACNM membership.

Dr. Claudio Celentano, Dr. Rixa Freeze, and co-authors are thrilled to announce the publication of their study on improving vaginal twin birth rates!

Two Italian hospitals participated, one via bringing in specialist teams, the other by training the entire staff.

Vaginal birth rates improved in both hospitals with no negative effects on maternal or neonatal outcomes.

Yes!!

Water birth during labor, when supported by trained midwives and clear protocols, continues to remain a reasonable and a safe option. Families deserve access to evidence based comfort measures across birth settings. NACPM advocates for policies that allow CPMs to offer full scope physiologic care. Options should expand, not shrink.
