Last week, during one of our intakes, we met a client with dementia who left such a lasting impression. She smiled through the entire visit — the kind of genuine, warm smile that lights up a room.

I told her how much I loved her smile, and she responded with a little shrug and said:

“Might as well!”

Such a simple phrase, yet full of wisdom.
A beautiful reminder that even in challenging moments, choosing joy is still possible — and often contagious.
